On weekends from March to June the Museo Thyssen is offering guided tours of Proust and the Arts, an exhibition that focuses on the importance of art in the work of one of the most influential writers of the 20th century, recognised in the fields of literature, philosophy and art theory. The aesthetic ideas developed in his work by Marcel Proust (Auteuil, 1871 - Paris, 1922), the artistic, urban and natural settings that surrounded him and which he recreated in his books, and the contemporary artists and Old Masters who inspired him are some of the themes that structure the exhibition. Proust and the Arts aims to highlight that connection and the relationship between art and Proust’s personality, life and work.

This guided tour is aimed at the general public aged over 12.
